Pastoral Counseling Centers of Tennessee Announces the Openinig of Their New Psychiatric Medical Services Clinic
Published August 25, 2011
The Board of Directors and the Staff of the Pastoral Counseling Centers of Tennessee (PCCT) are pleased to welcome Dr. Kirk Barton as the Medical Director for our new Psychiatric Medical Services Clinic. The clinic is now open and available appointments and your referrals.
For over twenty-five years, PCCT has been seeking to professionally integrate the best of theological studies with psychotherapy in a ministry of professional care dedicated to healing and growth in human life and relations. In seven different locations in middle Tennessee, PCCT provides counseling and clinical services in partnership with local congregations. For now, the Psychiatric Medical Services Clinic will operate out of the Vine Street office of PCCT located at 100 Vine Court, Nashville, Tennessee 37205. The Psychiatric Clinic will provide assessment for and treatment with psychiatric medication for adults in the community. The Psychiatric Medical Services Clinic will work in close relationship with the therapists of PCCT (and the community) to insure the highest level of comprehensive care for our clients.
Part of the mission of PCCT is to insure that the excellence of care provided by our staff is accessible to all in the community. The Psychiatric Medical Services Clinic will not use the sliding scale used by our therapists and will not be “in network” for insurances, but will have affordable fees, limited financial assistance, and administrative assistance in filing out-of-network insurance. We welcome your referrals for any person you feel may benefit from our services.
