The Advanced Pastoral Care Specialist Training Program (APCS) is for persons who have completed the Pastoral Care Specialist Program and who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in the pastoral care and counseling ministry of the church. Expanding upon the previous course, the participant will learn how to develop truly therapeutic relationships with persons in physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual need. Emphasis will be upon situations commonly encountered by parish pastors.
